ABOUT US

We at Fujikura Technology Europe GmbH are proud to be part of the Japanese technology group Fujikura Ltd., founded in 1885. You have probably already had contact with the company's products in many cases without knowing it. We manufacture products worldwide in the fields of energy/telecommunications, automotive (e.g. for VW, Audi and Porsche) and electronics. As an important subsidiary of the R&D sector, we were founded in 2018 in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, with the task of developing and marketing innovative and cross-industry solutions. This makes us the small digital hub of the development department. Our innovations and solutions focus on the areas of software, artificial intelligence, radar technologies and sensor technology. Originating from an international group, we decided in 2020 to set up two international subsidiaries ourselves. This is how FTES AG (Switzerland) and FTET (Turkey) were created to support our development department.

YOUR TASKS

▪ Development of embedded software applications using C\C++ and other embedded programming languages.

▪ Work in Embedded Linux environment, device drivers development, Kernel porting and U-boot might be needed.

▪ Development of communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART and higher-level networking protocols such as IP, TCP/UDP.

▪ Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.

▪ Design and development of specifications ADAS-RADAR product line.

▪ Good to have some experience in Python.

▪ Working in interdisciplinary teams in an agile manner.

YOUR PROFILE

• BSc, MSc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

• +3 years of experience in software engineering for embedded software ideally in the area of automotive

• Experience with the following tools: Version control tools (Git), build systems (e.g. Make, CMake, Autotools), embedded debugging tools.

• Experience with software development in Windows and Linux.

• Experience with communication middleware, CAN/CAN-FD, Ethernet and network setup.

• Knowledge of RTOS like FreeRTOS.

• Hands on programming experience with C/C++.

• Experience in developing software as a team, especially in an agile development environment (SCRUM, Jira).

• Experience in functional safety is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
